Volunteer
Last updated October 19, 2026
Many of the people who serve with Prodigal Child Ministries first came to us as hurting parents. Someone welcomed them, listened, and reminded them they were not alone. Volunteering is a way to give that same gift to the next family.
You do not need special training to help. Small, steady acts of service make a big difference.
Ways to serve
Retreats: help with setup, meals, and hospitality so parents can rest during their weekend.
Events: help set up and welcome families at Wisdom in the Waiting and other PCM gatherings.
Prayer: pray for the parents, families, and children we serve.
Spread the word: share PCM with your church, small group, or a friend who is struggling. Invite us to speak →
Lead a group: if you have walked this road and would like to help start a parent group in your area, we would love to talk with you.
How to get started
The easiest way to start is our short volunteer form. It takes about two minutes. We read every form, and someone from our team will reach out within a week to talk with you.
Prefer to talk first? Email info@prodigalchildministries.org or call 678-878-8324.
Volunteers who work directly with families may be asked to complete a background check.
Other ways to help
Everything PCM offers is free to families, and it stays that way because people give. Give to support families →
