Loving a struggling child can put real strain on a marriage. Unity in the Marriage is a weekend for couples who want to slow down, reconnect, and invest in their marriage while they walk this road together.

• Who it is for: Parents and caregivers of a struggling child who want to work on their marriage together

• Led by: Kim Castro and Troy and Melissa Haas, who bring professional experience in marriage ministry

• Cost: Like all PCM retreats, it is offered at no cost to parents.

Why a marriage retreat

When a child is struggling with addiction or a mental health condition, parents often spend every ounce of energy on the crisis. It is common to disagree about what to do next, to stop talking about anything else, or to feel alone even when you are side by side. This weekend is time set apart for the two of you, with people who understand what you are carrying.
