1. hope after a prodigal loss
Hope After a Prodigal Loss meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church (Room 337). This Christ-centered grief group provides an anchor in the storm of stigmatized loss. Led by Laura Hutchins & Courtney Rhue.
2. Supporting Our Siblings (S.O.S.)
A safe and compassionate space for anyone with a sibling impacted by addiction. Whether your sibling is currently struggling, in recovery, or you are grieving their loss, this group offers connection, understanding, and support. Join us on ZOOM every other Wednesday beginning January 8, 2025, from 7:00-8:00 pm EST. You are not alone- together we can navigate this journey. Abby and Malayne facilitate this group. 4. Parents of Prodigals support group
P.O.P. group is taking a break for the summer (June and July 2025). **If you are interested in facilitating this group in the Fall, please let us know (678-878-8324 Julie).
Support for parents & siblings not specifically affiliated with Prodigal Child Ministries:
1. Parent Recovery Network (PRN)
PRN meets every Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at 327 Dahlonega Street, Suite 502, Cumming GA 30040. PRN provides a safe environment for parents to discuss addiction and substance abuse issues with other parents in the same situation.
2. Parents of addicted loved ones (PAL)
PAL meets each Tuesday from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at BOTH Northpoint Community Church (4350 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30022) & Browns Bridge Church (3860 Browns Bridge Rd, Cumming, GA 30041). PAL provides hope, through education and support, to parents of addicted loved ones. The meetings are open to anyone 18 years or older who has a loved one battling addiction.
3. Recovery Insideout virtual parent support
Free, therapist-facilitated virtual support group offers a safe, judgment-free space for parents and caregivers to breathe, share, and feel understood. Meets every other Thursday 6:00pm-7:30pm EST via Zoom. Register to attend at https://www.recoveryinsideout.com
4. Families Anonymous (FA) Virtual meeting:
Families Anoymous has a virtual zoom meeting on Mondays at 7:15pm EST.

5. loving someone with addiction
Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm-7:00pm in room 620 at The Church of the Apostles (3585 Northside Parkway NW Atlanta, GA 30327).
6. saturday morning hope Al-Anon family group
Meets every Saturday at 10:00am in the Learning Center (portable classroom) at St. Brendan’s Church 4633 Shiloh Rd. Cumming GA 30040. This group offers strength and hope for friends and families of those battling addiction.
